“When the Coast is Clear” is another classic end-of-summer jam. This Mac McAnally penned tune was released on the underrated album Floridays. This perhaps the first step of Buffet’s return to form and studio album resurgence that took off in the early 1990s. Aside from the jokey “You’ll Never Work in Dis Bidness Again” Floridays contains some of Buffett’s best songs of the 1980s.
