It’s hard to believe that in 1995 an album as wild and freewheeling as Ball-hog or Tugboat? was released on a major label. The record included a huge all star set of musicians assembled by the bassist of The Minutemen. One of the singles was even called “Piss Bottle Man” with The Lemonheads’ Evan Dando on vocals. The music video includes a funny alien abduction scene upping the bonkers quotient of the whole thing.
