Last night I saw Mike D. of the Beastie Boys perform a concert at a record store. He played a great set of songs from his new record Thank You. However, he closed with the classic Beastie Boys song “So What’cha Want” off of 1992’s Check Your Head. I love this song. I remember the summer when Check Your Head came out I bought it on cassette. I completely wore it out and bought it on cassette again. Then when I wore than one out I finally bought it on CD.
