Power Tools was a very short lived power trio consisting of Bill Frisell (guitar), Melvin Gibbs (bass) and Ronald Shannon Jackson (drums). They only put out one album: the incredible Strange Meeting in 1987. “Wadamlaw Island” is one of the many highlights on that record and this live version is completely smokin’!
