Saxophonist David Sanborn used to have a show on NBC called Sunday Night Music. This footage of Boz Skaggs’ killer band (Marcus Miller, bass, Philippe Saisse, keys, Omar Harkim, drums, Hiram Bullock, guitar plus Sandborn and Lou Marini in the horn section among others) on that show is stellar. Why can’t there be good music on television like this anymore?
